Lidl Ireland, Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) and Jigsaw have launched One Good Club™, a five-step youth mental health awareness programme for local clubs.
Clubs encouraged to participate in One Good Club™ programme over 10 weeks from 6 April Funding awards to the value of €10,000 are available to clubs who demonstrate innovation, most community involvement or highest level of engagement Lidl’s One Good Club™ programme forms part of Lidl’s €2.1m investment in fifth year of partnership with LGFA Lidl has invested over €4m in the partnership with LGFA since 2016 By taking part in One Good Club™ your club will be supported to undertake a series of activities in line with the 5-a-Day for your mental health concept.

The ask
We’re calling on clubs across the country to sign up to the programme that runs over 10 weeks commencing 6 April 2020. Participating clubs should capture their 5-a-day wellbeing activities and share them on social media using the hashtag #OneGoodClub. Funding awards All clubs that complete the five steps will receive kit and gear for their club and the official Lidl One Good Club™ accreditation. Following on from that, accredited clubs will be applicable to enter for a Lidl One Good Club™ funding award. Three awards to the value of €10,000 and will be awarded to clubs who demonstrate the following: Most Innovative Initiative – €2,500 Most Community Involvement – €2,500 Best Overall Programme Engagement – €5,000.
