Research and evaluation

At Jigsaw, research and evaluation are at the core of how we improve youth mental health services.

Our work ensures that young people aged 12-25 receive evidence-based, high-quality, and accessible support, aligned with Sláintecare, Sharing the Vision, and Ireland’s National Mental Health Research Strategy.

Our current Research & Evaluation Strategy focuses on three key priorities:

  • Delivering Evidence-Based Evaluation to enhance quality, safety, and impact.
  • Producing High-Quality Research that supports Jigsaw’s mission and promotes integrity, transparency, and accountability.
  • Translating Research into Policy and Practice, ensuring findings inform real-world improvements in youth mental health.

By embedding research into everything we do, we drive innovation, improve service delivery, and contribute to shaping national policy for youth mental health.
