Jigsaw announced as new charity partner for Start Solar in two-year commitment

Jigsaw, the charity dedicated to supporting youth mental health, is thrilled to announce that it has been selected as the charity partner to Start Solar, the leading renewable energy specialist.

This exciting two-year collaboration aims to raise awareness and funds to support the vital mental health services that Jigsaw provides.

"Start Solar are very excited to announce Jigsaw as our charity partner for the next 2 years. For every Solar PV system sale in ROI beginning May 1st 2024, Start Solar will make a donation to Jigsaw. On top of this, Start Solar will also be donating all proceeds from our charity golf day in August 2024 to Jigsaw.

Why Jigsaw? Mental health is a major issue in Ireland and unfortunately is affecting more and more young people. Jigsaw are doing tremendous work helping these young people cope with mental health issues through various supports and training throughout the country.

Start Solar hope that with this partnership, we can help to make a difference in the lives of young people affected by issues related to mental health."

This two-year partnership will see Start Solar donating a percentage of each sale to Jigsaw, plus organising the annual Start Solar Charity Golf Classic, in aid of Jigsaw, which is taking place this year at Seapoint Golf Club in Co Louth on 8th August 2024.

Jigsaw will also be working with Start Solar to provide mental health education and training to its staff and awareness raising with its customers.
