Anxiety can occur when we are faced with a threat. In the current climate of threat and uncertainty, anxiety is a completely understandable response.
While we can’t change the situation, there are things that we can do to help manage the feelings of anxiety.
When anxiety occurs
Anxiety can occur when we are faced with a threat. In the current climate of threat and uncertainty, anxiety is a completely understandable response. While we can’t change the situation, there are things that we can do to help manage the feelings of anxiety.
To help we can:
- Practice relaxation and controlled breathing
- Try to take a more balanced view
- Take a break from things that add to anxiety, such as social media
- Tecognise the strengths that we have that will help us get through.
